Why you need a utility locate before you excavate.
Obtaining public locates before you dig is a mandatory requirement. However, the public locates you receive will not include any privately owned or installed utilities. Private locates are an important part of any project to identify private utilities, review existing locates for potential discrepancies, and refresh marks that may have faded during site activities while your public locates are still valid.
Our Utility Locate Technicians use state-of-the-technology to investigate and identify utilities in your work area. Once our site work is complete, we provide detailed drawings to document what we discovered on site.
